Study on Mass Transfer of Phosphorus Based on New Hot-Metal Dephosphorization Kinetic Model

To investigate mass transfer of phosphorus in hot-metal dephosphorization process, it is necessary to reduce the deviation traditional models fitting accuracy. According change content during dephosphorization, a new model was established by introducing concept “dynamic relative area”. With help literature data and comparative analysis old models, rationality verified. On this basis, order reveal effects CaO its derivatives on phosphorus, based effect FetO–CaO–SiO2–CaCl2 slags high-phosphorus hot metal at 1673 K (1400 °C), process investigated calculating, analyzing, discussing overall coefficients using CaO, Ca(OH)2, CaCO3 with equal molar amount as fixatives (slag formers) dephosphorizer respectively. The results show that under action Ca(OH)2 are 0.0216 cm/s 0.0363 cm/s, respectively, which significantly lower than 0.0840 CaO.
